TOUR ITINERARY - 3 DAYS RWANDA GORILLA SAFARI
Day 1: Arrival
Our safari guide will pick you from your hotel, for a brief city tour. The city tour includes a visit to the local markets, a pottery project, handicraft shops, the Franco-Rwandan cultural centre and the genocide memorial. Later you will be transferred to Parc Nationale des Volcans. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge / Kinigi Guest house (FB)
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in the Gorilla Sanctuary
Early morning you enter the gorilla sanctuary of Parc National des Volcans, the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding experience. Ensure you bring with you enough water and the packed lunch. The time spent in the forest depends on the movements of the apes in their natural habitat. After meeting the rare and endangered mountaion gorillas, return to the lodge at leisure for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/Kinigi Guest house (FB)
Day 3: Kigali
Early morning after breakfast, you will depart to Kigali International Airport depending on your time of departure.
